What Is Epilight?

The Epilight system of hair removal was developed from laser technology and is now considered to be the most effective treatment for the removal of unwanted hair.

It uses an intense pulsed light, to destroy hair follicles and prevent re-growth.

In a split second, a large area can be treated potentially destroying hundreds of hair follicles.

A few questions answered...

Can all hair and skin colour be treated?

The Epilight hair removal treatment can be customised to suit virtually all hair colours except blonde, grey and white hair. All skin colours can be treated except Afro-Caribbean.

Does it Hurt?

Firstly, a cool gel is applied to the treatment area.  In a split second, a pulse of light is delivered to the treatment area.  You may feel a slight stinging sensation, similar to the flick of an elastic band.  No anaesthetic is required.

How many treatments will i require?

This depends on the colour and density of the hair.  Many patients are more than happy with the results of only four treatments, but in other cases, a course of ten or more treatments may be required.

Even after one treatment, it is often possible to see a reduction in hair growth.

who will i be treated by?

A female therapist with many years experience will provide your treatment. You will normally see the same person each time you visit the clinic.

when can i start my treatment?

After an initial consultation, you will require a test in the area you wish treated.  This is to check your suitability and response. 

The cost of the test area is £ 25.00 with the first treatment one week later. The cost of the test area will be deducted from your first treatment.

how much will it cost?

This is very much dependent on the size of the area and the density of hair you wish to be removed and treated.  Typically, an upper lip treatment will cost£ 39.00.
